Paul Kohlmeier, BPE, Dipl. Ac., MTAM
Paul has been working in the field of massage therapy since 1995. He specializes in treating injuries and muscle imbalances caused by sport and accidental trauma.

His schooling includes graduating from the University of Manitoba in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, and then from the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies, inc. in 1997 and finally from the Hua Xia Acupuncture and Herb College of Canada in 2007. In his massage therapy treatments, Paul uses orthopaedic assessment, isometric stretching and manipulation, deep tissue massage, remedial exercise, aromatherapy and/or Manual Lymph Drainage to achieve therapeutic goals. His life-long involvement in sport gives him insight into the dysfunctions caused by athletic activity. As he has recently finished his course in acupuncture, he is now available to do acupuncture as a treatment option. He is also an avid photographer, and you can see some of his work in his treatment room, and in the clinic.

Kathy Zink, MTAM
 

Kathy is a graduate of the Advanced Remedial Massage Therapy program at the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies, inc. Kathy has studied assessment and treatment of muscle and joint pain and utilizes Swedish based techniques as well as Myofascial Mobilization, Manual Lymph Drainage, and Craniosacral Therapy. Dan Kasper, AMTWP
Dan Kasper joined Symmetry Massage in 2005 and has been in practice since 2002.
 

Dan is a graduate of the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba and specializes in deep tissue massage, muscle energy techniques, jaw pain, stretching therapies (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation – PNF) and rehabilitative exercise with an interest in joint mobilization and Myofacial release. Dan treats a diverse selection of clients including marathon runners and professional dancers. Being a marathon runner himself, Dan has great insight into the therapeutic needs of endurance athletes. Kris Ehnes, MTAM
Kris Ehnes is a graduate of Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy and has been in practice since 2003.
 

Kris specializes in deep tissue and rehabilitative therapies and has an interest in Kinesio Taping and muscle energy techniques. Kris treats a variety of clients including endurance athletes and professional dancers. He is also a very active individual with interests in weight training, mountain biking and Irish dance. Nicole Jutras, MTAM
Nicole graduated from the Advanced Remedial Massage Therapy program from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy.
 

She specializes in Pre and Post Natal Massage and is working towards obtaining her Labor and Delivery as well as Infant Massage Therapy certificate. Nicole also has an interest in post-operative rehabilitation massage as well as treating persons with physical disabilities.

As a former tap and ballet dancer, Nicole has a broad knowledge in regards to the therapeutic needs of professional dancers. She practices Ashtanga and Iyengar Yoga and is an avid runner. Nicole has an interest in Japanese culture and art, and plans on furthering her massage therapy knowledge by obtaining her Shiatsu Massage Therapy Certificate in the autumn of 2010.


Julie Mitton, MTAM
 

Julie is a small town girl with a passion for helping others, which is why she took the advanced remedial massage therapy program at the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba. In her treatment she uses Swedish techniques to provide a deep tissue therapeutic massage which focuses on the myofacial tissue and trigger point therapy. Julie knows the importance of maintaining balance within the body in her treatment sessions she will provide stretches and exercises to prolong the effects of her treatment.


Erin Nitzsche, MTAM
Erin graduated from the advanced program at Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy.
 

Erin studied assessment and treatment at Wellington College as well as relaxation and Swedish deep tissue massage. Erin is a positive upbeat person who loves to dance and play baseball. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz and modern styles of dance.


Dominique Smith
Dominique is the person you are most likely to hear on the phone and see at the front desk during the day.
 

She is in the office at 8:45 when we open until 4:30 Monday to Friday. As our office administrator, she has the task of keeping us organized, which is no mean feat.
